1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Clany. These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) govern your access to and use of the Clany application, dedicated to managing family and personal calendars. By registering or using Clany, you fully and formally accept these T&C and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
2. Service Description
Clany allows you to:
- Create and share family and personal calendars.
- Create, edit, and delete events.
- Assign tasks or reminders to group members.
- Receive push notifications when changes occur or reminders are due.
3. Account Creation and Usage Requirements
- Minimum Age: You must be at least 13 years old or the legal age in your country. Minors require supervision by a responsible adult.
- Information: By registering you provide truthful data (name, email address, date of birth). You are responsible for keeping it updated.
- Security: Your password and any actions performed under your account are your sole responsibility.
4. General Conditions of Use
- User Responsibilities: Do not share credentials. Use the service lawfully and respectfully.
- Prohibitions: No spamming, malicious actions, or posting offensive content. Do not violate third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy).
- Intellectual Property: Clany and its content (design, logo, code) are protected by copyright and software licenses.
5. Third-Party Integration
We use the following external services for analytics, notifications, and subscription management:
- Firebase
- Datadog
- RevenueCat
6. Suspension and Cancellation
- By the User: You may delete your account from within the app; all data will be removed except what we are required to retain by law.
- By Clany: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for serious T&C violations, fraudulent use, or prolonged inactivity.
7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
- Clany is provided “as is” without warranties of availability, accuracy, or fitness.
- We shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or data loss beyond the amount paid by the user in the last 12 months (where applicable).
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These T&C are governed by Spanish and European law (GDPR). Any disputes will be submitted to the Courts of Madrid, Spain.
